The Asia-Pacific Rally Championship is an FIA authorized rally championship, in which Suzuki won 4 consecutive F2 drivers cup from 1995 to 1998, and also won manufactures cup in 1998. And in 2001, 6 events for the Championship were held. Suzuki introduced a new machine "Suzuki Ignis Super 1600" to the Championship and tested the machine aiming for the upcoming WRC challenge in Europe.
